Established in 1995 in my kitchen, Olde Nantucket Candle is what my husband and I like to call our “first baby”. Born out of my desire to see candle making return to Nantucket, I began making my line of candles as a tribute to what makes this island so special.

Over the years, I, along with many of you, not only saw my family grow with the birth of my three children but also saw my shop grow into a favorite of islanders and visitors alike. From Washington St. to Oak St. and, lastly, to Centre St., I spent 7 years downtown and cherish every memory. But due to my desire to do the best for my three “other babies”, I chose to close my shop and sell my candles exclusively to other retailers as well as through my website.

Today, we are still hand making all our candles on island.. When shopping downtown, please look for us at Nantucket Lite or Manor House Antiques. If you happen to forget, you can always pick up one of your favorites on your way off island at the Windmill Gift Shop at the airport. We also invite you to order from us directly. We’d love to hear from you!
